Breathing fast,
waiting for this moment to pass.
Even still, it seems to last.
The air is quiet,
filled with sad.
The only sound, is people crying.
A place in my heart,
slowly dying.
It's all too much,
for me to take.
I'm half full of sadness,
and half full of hate.
Someone is gone at the sake,
of another person's stupid mistake.
But this time was worse,
for she was young.
So full of life,
a new one's begun.
I'm not sure why it happened,
but I know that I'm unhappy.
Why was it her and not somebody else,
now my heart feels like an empty shelf.
I'd do almost anything to bring her back,
but sadly, this special power I lack.
R.I.P. Brittany. I love and miss you.
