The messenger

At the pub next door
I hangout with my friends
I think I saw a messenger
The type that God sends

Don't ask me why
But, he preached
Day and night
Without sleep

I was there listening to every word
It seemed so true until the end
To others it seemed absurd
But to me, my problems it did mend

Now, I go out with three girls
Jenna, Monica and Michella
Two of them, I kept
The other one I sold he'r

I was happy, no not sad
I was so happy that I kissed the cross
Then the messenger appeared again.
Now, I am at a loss

He wanted a balance in nature
Boy, he was pissed off
My good fortune made him jealous
And there he stood with a laugh

I clenched my fist and charged at him
He moved out of the way
I told him that he sucked
He told me that I would be gay

And as the next day began
I felt attracted to the man next door
I proposed to him and remembered
The messenger's words, I felt it to my core
