What do you do...
When you're so lost and confused?
And then in shame...you cry?
Something you've done...
You begin to rethink.
Maybe it was wrong...not right.

Your mind bending and turning...
Every which way...
Then slowly you begin to fall.
Faster and faster
Now hitting the ground...
And all too weak to crawl.

You're all alone...
With nowhere to go...
And no one to care to listen.
One last flashback...
Of the happier days...
When everything seemed to glisten.

So where do you turn?
With no way back home...
And with no one now to stay?
A backwards glimpse...
Shows the bridge you built,
And quickly burned away.

A darkening world
Seems all that is ahead of you...
Alone and cold and close.
Tears falling swiftly from your eyes
A puddle of sorrow...
To call your own.
