Dandelions and daisies sway to the tempo of her breath
Trees dance to the melody in the warmth of her rays
Color has exploded, gentle breeze refreshing rain
Birds, beak open thirst in the stifling air
While sunbathers bask in the heat of the day
Children laughter can be heard as they frolic and play
Oh How I Love you Summer!
The goldenrod shines with its life too
Piles of crunchy leaves, orange gold and red
The breeze laughs gaily in the treetops
shaking all the colors down
Covering the gardens as my blanket covers me
Squirrels hide their acorns the woodchucks disappear
Are reasons why this is the loveliest time of the year
Oh How I love you Autumn!
Clouds roll in earth grows white
Like a blanket that covers me in the night
O hear the branches sound, icicles long pointed noses
Flakes like daisies, diamonds, snow up to the windowsill
The spruce and the evergreens needles thick and furry
When cold wind blows the tall oak groans in northern winds
When cruel winds creeps beneath the bark
The sounds of Christmas carols and freshly baked cakes
Children faces aglow as their anticipate their gifts of Love
Oh How I Love you Winter!
Today is the day when bold kites fly in winds of chimes
Cumulus clouds roar across the sky and Robins return when children cheer
Light rains beckons spring to appear while birds sing sweet melodious tunes
Daffodil blooms, grasses green leaves burst through for spring to be seen
Spring breeze blowing all around, down fall the petals twirling to the
ground
Sunshine incarnates in petals, forsythia blossoms trumpet the sun’s
brilliance
Yellow splashes on a field of green while tulips pursed against the rain
Point accusingly at gray skies until the renegade sun opens them
Into cups to catch the hold of the precious rays
Oh How I Love you Spring
And these are the Seasons of Love….
