deep within my soul i cry
wishing some day to fly
my wings broken from non believing
my halo tarnished from misdeceiving
a burden is now mine i must carry
hurry now i can not tarry
to prove and guide your heart to where i am
and someday you shall be damned
all though i hope and pray that i fail for your soul i can see is pure and
true
keep it that way when i come for you
love your neighbor and your enemy all the same
keep your heart empty of guilt and shame
make sure i can not take you with me
because let me tell you this is not where i want to be.
