Oh the days are long and pitiful
And the nights are certain to be brutal
I ache for a moment of bliss with him
But I know if I call I'll just be dismissed

So my days I suffer uncontrollably
And my nights I wake to visions of thee
If love were real I'd be a criminal
Because tomorrow I'd murder it all

If love's wound would heal mine,
I'd murder it in cold humor tonight

I'm a criminal
A simple criminal
They'd lock me up
For avenging love
I'd pay the price IF I'd survive
Those pititful days
And brutal nights

Could I make the sacrifice
Would my flesh be rectified
In order to be satisfied
I need to watch love die.

If love's would would heal mine
I'd murder it in cold humor tonight.
