Locked away in the chambers of mind
Wondering the halls of darkness
Leaving you in the black
To rot away in the holes
Pushing away the world
Ripping away at your flesh
Haziness swallows whole
Shivers race up the spine
Eyes roll back
Tossing and turning
Rips the sheets around

Screams aloud
Bolting up from the slumber
Tearing the sheet up tight
Clamping down hard
Tears slide down the face
Dripping down on clenched hands
Crying thunders from down within
Limbs shake tossing you like the wind

Pulling away
Shutting the doors of the mind off
Deleting from the soul what happened
Praying that it won’t happen again
Locking the door
Pushin’ the thoughts out
Leaving them behind
To rot in the holes alone
