Love Me Like I Love You

Love me like I love you,
let us be the wings...
and the wind be our support
even though together our love is
so stong it would be useless.

Let our love be the kind that
angels sing of and pastors praise
and spirits long for.

Let our love be so strong that even
when it is forgotten,
it will be remembered.

Let our love be so fresh that it is
never ending, never dying...
it is everlasting.

Let our love be so cherished
that "I love you" will be as common
as it is rare.

Let our love be so confident that
it can chase away
all that defies it.

Let our love be so powerfull that
none other
can compare.

Let our love be a listener,
so even when I am silent,
you can hear me say
"I love you."
