Why are you here
Has everyone abandoned you
Finally left in the shadows
To where I lie
Have you no one to talk to
The walls have become your friends
Your mind feeding into the insecurities
You thought you left behind
Why don’t you leave
There is no one standing guard at the door
The cold floor leaves you heartless and empty
Calling out to the one person who you damaged
I tried to warn you about their entraptment
The cage they kept you in was so secure
But you broke away from me
Leaving me with no one to talk to
Why do you call out my name
I am dead to you
You’ve buried my body long ago
Your mind is the only thing listening now
You’ve run out of people who care
They slipped away with your hateful criticism
Now you’ve run back to the soul that never did you any harm
You burnt me at the stake
You tied me down and watched me cry
I disappeared right in front of your eyes
You stood over me
Have you run out people to talk to?
Where did they all go?
Will the walls talk to you?
