Once there was a Man
And This Man he had Scissors for Hands
He was created by the loving hands of
A lonely inventor
Who invented many things?
But this was the first man he had invented
The inventor ceased to live any longer
Unable to finish This Man
His Name was Edward
Left all alone
Unfinished
And confused
He stayed there
With his wonderful plant creations
Until one day
Appeared an Avon Lady
Sorry she felt for him
So an adventure began
Into the burbs he went
And what a lovely vision of beauty he saw
Ina young girl named Kim
The neiborhood fascinated by him
Loved his creations
The world took notice of him
Until one day still those hating him
For his hands of scissors
Never did they now such gentle man could exist
With scissors for hands
One the eve of Christmas did it finally crumble
Jim threatened him
Gentleness faded to anger
His temper he lost he ran to Kim
They are looking for she said
Tears in her eyes
Hold me
He could not
She held him
The mob chased him
To his home
Where he did stay
She came for her last good bye
Jim followed
To kill Edward
But Kim stopped
Him
Murder did Edward commit
In defense
So with her last goodbye Kim left
Edward was alone again
Yet this time with all his memories as friends
And a love lost
But he was happy to have love at all
Each winter form his old mountain did it rain snow
An sometimes you can still see her dancing
And some where alone he is still watching
Creating visions of her
The man with scissors for hands
