Dare I to think
Oh if I just had a brain
I'd a thunk many times afore
Yet it hurts to tell ya
I'm all sticks n straw
Strung up here
Upon a pole
My only friend a crow
My purpose to shew em away
Oh if only I could have peanut to think with
Any ol' bit o intelligence would do
For the pain would go away
I would be marry
For the doors of contemplation
Would open for me
A nothin I would not be
I would be like Lincoln
If only my one wish granted
For me to have a brain
For gee golly I'd be thankful
My heart no longer filled with pain
A philosopher I'd be
If oh golly I had a brain
I would think of things never imaged a fore.
To tell why the oceans meets the shore.
No only left to wonder the fork in the road
If only I was to have a thinker to think with
Oh please wizard man grant me
This wish to give
This scare crow man a brain.
