You could have any guy you wanted,
So why did you take mine?
He was all I had to cling to,
Now only thoughts consume my time.
Without him here to hold me.
Knwing now that he holds you.
I have nothing here to comfort me,
And nothing left to do,
But go to sleep and dream,
Of how things used to be.
And hide alone in dark,
So that so no one can see;
How painful it is without him,
So no one sees I'm weak,
So I still seem independent:
I dont need anyone but me.
