this passing silnce
is screaming
ans standing outside your window
tapping the glass
im hating the bittersweet chill that hangs in the air
and in my throat
my fingers are becoming numb
and automatically keep tapping
as i ask for your forgiveness tonight
i lost the war
and im praying that i didnt lose you as well
my breath drifts away
away, away
my darling
im sorry
i dont think i realized what i had
but i do now
darling
i suppose i'll just keep tapping
until your last nerve blacks out
and you come to see me
or
you call the police
but if it gets your attention
then its all good
