innocence that wilts beneath a .26

i've blasted a hole through oblivion
now i see right through your smile
seeing your twisted desires
pour out like a fountain

i dont know why i did it
maybe you pushed too hard
maybe it hurt too bad
maybe i was too ashamed to tell
but too angry to forget

i suppose it all started
when you thrust the gun in my face
forced me on floor
and faught your way into my world
you turned it upside down

and every tear i cried
burned a hole inside
i will never forget
you said you were my friend
