Help me…
Help me find my way…
I’m lost…
Lend me your hand and guide me back to the light

Forever in darkness I am
Lost in the crowds of the dead
Drowning in pool of sorrow
Wishing day and night for the light to return
Forever searching for the keys to the doors of hope

I’m lost in the darkness, with hopes swiftly diminishing
I’m curled up in the corner waiting for death to come
I’m walking down a path leading to nowhere
I walk alone, no one at my side, no one to tell me the path
Always dampened with the tears of anger, pain, and hate
A frozen wind at my back, forever hardening my soul

For when will the light come?
I see no end to the darkness, but only an end for me
I see what little light I have is diminishing
And once it is gone, I will have lost, I’ll have fallen
I’ll go so far inside myself to where there is so little hope of return
I’ll drop all barriers and let people see me for who I truly am, and end up
alone

For when the darkness does take me
I’ll need you here more then ever to bring me back
Back from the stray paths, from the pools of sorrow, from the rain
Bring me back to the light and let me live again, for once, for the first
time…
