In One Breath

You may think it won't be hard
It won't be that fast.
In just one breath all is gone
Nothing left to rest.
Reality hadn't set into your body
The heat of the moment consumes you fully.
You don't want to admit you where wrong
Beacuse that is just to hard.
You have regrets and mysteries in your head.
Your eyes finally melt the ice cap
That was on them,
You finally see clearly,
Which is very scary.
You start to think what happened
And remember everything.
Then silence is upon you
And that one last breath.
You start to tear,
And cry on your mom's shoulder.
The other person is in your eyes
And they start to glaze over.
You say it will pass,
The feeling will leave,
But in the back of your mind
It lingers heavily.
The pain becomes sharper
And your eyes puff up.
That breath is upon you as you
Try to hold it back.
You know it coming,
But you try to strain.
Then suddenly it's out,
Everything is still the same.
