Broken

I saw you
I loved you
The touch of your hands
The comfort, the love was strong
And yet I wanted more,
More than I could handle
So I broke you, your heart
I hurt you, more than I'll ever know
You forgave me, I crawled back
And yet, a lesson I didn't learn
And I broke your heart again
My love faded away, because I wanted more
More than I could ask you for
But why?
You loved me, more than anything
I was just blind
I was afraid, afraid it might end worse later
But I should have seen,
Breaking your heart, would break mine as well
In tiny, unreplaceable pieces
The only healer, is you
But now I must, see you
Find a way to make you mine, once again
Mend hearts,
Never to be broken again
