Like A Ghost

I feel like a ghost in this “wonderful town”.
And when I’m found,
Just floating around.
People simply just ignore me,
As if I couldn’t be.
I wonder if I were to disappear,
Would they drop a tear?
Alone, I’m confused.
Why can’t I even get used?
A lover I can’t find,
Because women are blind,
To the gentle and sensitive kind.
Vanishing from existence,
This very instance
Might cure my illness.
Of a prolonged loneliness.
Put to sleep, I will rest!
