Alone in her own world,
She lives her life in dark,
Never seeing truth,
Bearing evil's mark.
Lonliness comsumes her,
Distorts her mind's thoughts,
Changing her direction,
From what she truely sought.
The pain inside overwhelms her,
A break down must be near.
The support her heart cries for,
No one seems to hear.

She knows not how to express her pain,
Sending curses and wrongful blames.
Inside her emotions stir...
More than one truely loves her.

Cold is her heart,
For it will not see,
There is One,
Who will always be.

No longer can she run,
From the trials of this place.
Teary eyed she looks,
Her Maker in the face.
Standing in awe,
Of the wonders He has made,
The stars, the skies,
It blows her away.
Finally she sees,
Theres something she needs.
To heaven she sent,
A heart-felt plea.
Transformed yet renewed,
Now her life is right.
Her eyes, atlast, they open,
Now she sees the light.

One death, not she died,
But many day by day,
Til she repayed the favor,
And to death she lay.
Many will remember,
How strong and proud she was,
As her peer pulled the trigger,
And her soul flew to the above.

Still, we must not forget,
It isn't how she died.
But what truely matters,
Is how she lived her life.

In loving memory of Cassie Bernall
