Losing myself to save you

On the floor shaking
You laugh at me
You call me a bitch and other profanities.
I know in my heart that you have changed
You just stand there and watch me in pain
You enjoy every second that you gain
You just don't care
You just stand there
Watching and laughing while I'm in despair
You hit me so hard I can't even breathe
I try to look at you
I just try to see
Try to see that look of hope you use show me
But it's not there
It's gone
Lock and hidden away somewere
I open my eyes and take one good look at you
You stand there
You look lost and confused
Your eyes start to tear and I see the old you
You walk over to me
You look into my eyes
I touch your face
I tell you not to cry
You turn your head
but those feelings you have you just cannot hide
I look at you
We stare at each other till everything went black
Everything went cold
Went to a limp
You held me in your arms
Try to keep the warmness that was left from within
Even though you were gone my feelings never changed
I sat there and waited till you felt the same
But I guess that you realized a little to late
I won't cry
Won't shed at tear
Because I died for a reason and that was to keep you here
