Many times
I wanted to look you in the eye.
Hint that I was falling
Falling faster in myself.
I screamed silently
Hoping there would be a whisper
A gentle sound of my call.
My soul hit the ground
Unworthy of a simple pleasure
As the water began to run.
Never a calm existance forgave
My heart and empty mind.
A once shallow water
Began to rise above my brow.
Shaking from the cold touch
Of my naked body
Increased a fear to which I never had.
Showing a pain
That was destined
To a liar.
