Drunk one night in a bar,
Thinking of you while I drive my car,
I see the headlights of a truck,
I have no reactions but some luck,
The horn is honking in the night,
I see the light as it goes away,
I woke upon people staring,
In the hospital with speakers blaring,
A girl walks up to me and says to me,
Are you ok sir?
You seemed like me after my eighth drink.
Now I rest,
I'm safe and sorry,
I'm glad my life wasn't taken away.
