Thanks and gratitude for your love
and the path you’ve shown through above.
I can’t dare to explain the tears
that shall descend as the fears
of losing and living without you.
Your warm hands were there
when I was young and unaware.
You’ve been treated good and bad
but through all the dark, I’m glad
that you’re family; my grandmother.

I’m sure that life has been life,
and you’ve been mishandled as a wife,
but you’re more caring than anyone.
All you do is understand your grandson.
Thank you for wrestling life to the ground
and allowing your love to be around.
You need to know that a man
loves you more than you could understand.
Through all the blood and sorrow,
I’m sorry if emotions I made the devil borrow,
but I’ll always remember that you’re here.
Somehow within my heart you could peer
and grant my mind with advice
that is correct and precise.
I see now the security you contain,
and up above your soul will maintain
to be a guiding force from within,
as I strive to eradicate my sin.
And your sin has to be forgiven!
Please enjoy life after life up in heaven.
