We're All Dying

We're all dying slowly on the inside
A slow and painful death by the things we do
By all our secrets and lies
I just feel forever blue

I have figured it out a day and an eternity
Will pass and we will have
Nobody but "me"
And devolve, fighting with no guns but sharpened staves

Eventually we won't live for creation
We will merely
Exist for destruction
And we won't be pretty, will we?

Of course you don't understand
You have not long for this planet
Yet you are blissfully unaware that this land
Is nothing; you're caught in their net

You will never comprehend
But I will try to teach you
By the time the world is done
I'll probably just have confused

Those wasteful habits, taking long showers
Standing in the man-made, burning rain
For hours and hours
It seems you are in no pain

But ever since we are born
We are dying
Down we're being worn
And at last I'll be crying

Not with pain
But with joy
My everlasting sorrows reign
Has ended, girls and boys!
