Sweet Agony

I swear I'll never forget
the way the sun made your hair look golden
even though it was the darkest shade of ebony
that soft glowing auora around you as you smiled
made me into the woman I've always
wanted to be
you, my oblivious angel... come back to me
sweet agony spare me
I havent been the same since you walked away
I watched with dry tears in my eyes
and trapped screams in my throat
maybe it wasn't meant to be
but please...
sweet agony spare me
Can't you see me wilting away?
Are you just going to watch as I fade?
Can't you hear me screaming your name?
If only you could feel this pain
sweet agony please spare me
but you keep on looking astray
ignore this futile soul as she lays
draining...dying...bleeding...crying
Sweet agony
Just take me
