he took me out
one friday night
the restarant, perfect
the feeling, just right
this was a restaurant
we hadnt been to yet
this was a night
wed never forget
this french place
was very fancy
but the quality of the food
was very chancy
our waiter arrived
with champagne on ice
and my sweet-heart told me
not to worry about the price
the food was good
the atmosphere, great
though i still cant pronounce
that thing that i ate
then later that night
at the end of our meal
we drove back to his place
with him at the wheel
he opened the door for me
and turned the lights on
then my eyes opened wide
i almost fainted on the lawn
there were beautiful rose petals
scattered on the floor
in a path that lead straight
to his bedroom door
candles lined the pathway
as he led me up the stairs
we entered his bedroom
and away flew my cares
his room was lit with only candles
and there were rose petals on the bed
there was nowhere else in the world
id rather have been instead
the room was so beautiful
the feeling oh so right
my intuition told me
this was to be a special night
the next thing to happen
i never would have guessed
my heart almost burst
right out of my chest
my honey took me by the hand
then got down on one knee
he said "i love you with all my heart,
Will You Marry Me?"
then he pulled out a ring
the most beautiful one ever
with one single diamond upon it
an exquisite solitaire
he placed it on my finger
while i was still speechless
then he slowly stood back up
hoping that id say yes
i stared down at the ring
then looked deep into his eyes
and while tears of joy streamed down my face
said "yes!" and forgot my pride
forgot myself, forgot the world
just grabbed him and held him tight
id been waiting ever since i was 13
for this very special night
he then tilted up my chin
and kissed me so passionately
i knew he was my Mr.Right
and i knew we were meant to be
but then suddenly a phone rang
ugh..-_- i wanted to scream
i sat up in bed and thought to myself
wow.. what a perfect dream!
