A few days ago you broke my heart
-without even knowing-
you ripped my world apart.

I started to cry but stopped myself soonafter-
After all, I can rip you out of my book-
and i can start a new chapter.

You're just a guy, you can be replaced-
however the wounds that you've opened
-those will never be erased.

Because I've moved on-my life has taken meaning
I feel so happy now
that I finally have that feeling-

that I have direction, that I belong
and that's why you'll find me,
-righting the wrong.

I sit and look out a tthe setting sun,
I may be alone
but my battle is definitely won.
