Blind...

I'm running and running from everything.
Blind, I can't see, but I felt the darkness sting.
Suddenly audible is envy's song.
It pulls me near, and I follow the path along.
Traveling to the end, the sound is loud.
Come upon Utopia gaurded by transparent shroud.
Look within to find some entity there.
Pretty little girl with a piercing stare.
She's the first, the last, the one, the only.
The saint, the muse, the all, the never lonely.
She's beautiful, smart, everything you want to be.
She's everything and all the things that are not me.
Enraged I pull a weapon into my hand.
Not a flinch, not terrified, she comes to a stand.
I approach, expression blank, and put it to her head.
She accepts it, I pull the trigger, render her dead.
Lying body on the ground I see below,
I find questionable intrigue...Is this someone I know???
I'm blind, I crouch down, so this person I clearer see.
I am blind...I realize that this person was only me.........
