Fateful Mist

Nothing shines brighter in the mist than night,
The cold, dark kind of night that consumes all,
Surrounding the world with eternal might,
Where one cannot even see their own fall,
But such is fate, our ever-guiding star,
That we may not fall to our own demise,
No matter how great we journey afar.
For no matter the plans we do devise,
Fate will never lead our path away,
No matter what we do to fall off track,
Though the darkness may always make lofe grey,
To the path fate will truly bring us back,
And us fate will always guide through the mist,
Soof this life, we must always persist.
