Self-Destruct (with assistance from you)

To tell you that you are, no doubt
The most beautiful creature I’ve even seen
To leave footprints in the white sand
Would be to deny myself
Truth
And I would betray my own mind
For the beauty of you skin is like
A burglar’s greedy eyes on diamonds
Stealing my breath
In a moment of awe
I gasp for air
The result of your painful light
And my eyes freeze and lock
On your body
And my lonely heart thumps unpredictably
With a deafening crack, a single rib of mine
Shatters into thousands of pieces
An internal jigsaw puzzle of my shock
Lungs have taken up the
Process of dying
Blackened organs
The lack of air
Asphyxiated them
And my brain is screaming
Wishing to remember a moment
That I ever saw someone more beautiful
More priceless
Well put a price tag on me because
I’m going to self-destruct
Fall to the ground and fall apart
I guess this is the end of me
And you don’t even notice

Your beauty
Was devastating.
