He makes me smile
filling my heart and veins with
fluttering butterflies.
He makes me open up.
Exposing who I really am on the inside.
When I'm around him
my walls come tumbling down.
I feel naked.
Alive.
Exposed.
Side by side we sit.
I want to kiss him.
Love him,
like she never could.
