Goodbye

Saying goodbye is not always easy to do
Especially to one who have positively impacted you
Choosing your soul-mate can be quite challenging
Always seemed fittingly well in the very beginning
Until a mirror of hidden clowns unseen
Masked in disguise and blinded by love
A perfect gentleman, so it seemed
But time will soon prove this Prince Charming’s plight
There is a saying to every beginning there is an ending
And to those who fly into rage always makes a bad landing
Unfortunately lack of self-control is exposed to grievous ruins
Mastering deception is revealed in true colors of adversities
Remember this one lesson in life
If you gather roses you must never fear the thorns
And you can’t go forward or make progress
By looking in the rearview mirror
So say goodbye and move right along
And your next time around
Your choice will be sound
