The shadows are dull
The lights have faded
My life would seem short
In a once reunion of fate
In which I will longingly miss.

I walk the fogged streets
My head hung low
As the tears ripple
Against the pavement.

The breeze upon my neck
Sends a chill of goosebumps;
An unwanted feeling of fear
And distraught.

My mind weakens
To create a past time
Unknown to many eyes.
The lightening sparkles
The only essence left
Of my dead cold eyes.

So I may linger
In an occurance of time
Slowly drifting further in death
And further in life

As I fall into the earth
In which my heart cannot tremble
For feeling has become numb.
I remain dead in your eyes
And you remain dead in mine.
