With eyes only for dakrness, are we condemned to stay in this world?
With misery as our teachers, we watch as our fates are unfurled.
With feet that step on broken glass,
Tell me, what can we find that they will not harass?
With eyes that have seen eternal damnation,
We are all lost, but we are the hope of our nation.
With dreams in our hearts that search for hope that is now lost,
We find ourselves looking for self destruction at any cost.
With arms wide open,
Our wounds we reopen.
We long for salvation, but we know that that path is broken,
So we keeps searching for forgotten words unspoken.
We cry inside,
And our feelings we hide.
We long to be free,
Bur we are scared of what that word may be.
With voices unheard,
They think us absurd.
We look for a way to redemption,
But we know that we will always be an exemption.
