My life is full of emptiness
loneliness, and sorrow
I keep hoping to myself
that you'll be back tomorrow

You're always with me
You're everywhere, in everything
You don't know how much emotion
one memory can bring

I ask myself all the time
Do you miss me as much as I do you?
Do you even think about me
and when it was just us two?

It hurts so much
that you don't feel the same
I cry because I want to see you
I cry when I hear your name

Was I special to you
or just another fling?
Did you really care for me
or did you mean a thing?

I chose to ignore the signs
and was willing to wait
but for now and for always
I'll know I was too late.
