Pleasure Of Murder

Your hand brushed against my cheek
Raising the anticipation
Of why you brought me here.
I closed my eyes as your touch embraced me.
I was entranced by you.

When I was with you,
I felt security and danger
Happening all at once.
I loved you dearly
No tears wept from my eyes
As long as I was with you.

Your touch stopped.
My eyes widened.
You stepped backward
As if I was a disgrace to you.
But why?

A disgusted look brought me to tears
And suddenly you came closer.
A shallow man was in my eyes
Not my lover who I cared for.

I saw your hand grab my neck
As I became aware
That you used me for a pleasure.
Not just any pleasure.
The pleasure of murder.

I felt the life slip away
Slip away from my heart
As I fell to the ground
For the last time.
