This Man

Alone from the world,
hiding and lingering
beautiful solitude
is a custom to this man

A heavy burden he carries
deep within himself
yet he still goes on
but for what?

The blood on his hands,
scars on his neck
no family to go to
but he wont turn back

No arms can comfort,
no key can unlock
these tragic memories
bound to his heart

for he’s a lone rider
a knight in disguise
a passing wonder
that has secrets to hide

so if you see this man
take a good long look
cause before you know it
he'll be gone,
carrying on
