Pain is what I feel
Everyday of my life
The pain that comes with
Not having that special someone
Pain in knowing that I may never
Have that in my life

Longing
Longing is what I go through
All day long
When I see a couple together
I long to be with someone
Someone special in my heart
I want to feel
Like I have never before

Love
Love is what I long to feel
And pain when I know
It may not happen

Longing turns into pain
Pain into longing
Either way
Love is what I am looking for

Love is everything
