I am overwhelmed and perplexed on every side
Like a sheep from its shepherd I have drifted away
How I longed to dance into your light but My feet are shackled
Remove these chains of bondage that binds me
Set me free from the enemy’s grasped
Discouragement I wear as my robe
I am unable to go forward and excel
From this place of darkness built by rebellion
I search and seek for you amidst this turmoil
And wondered if you are still there
Lilly of the valley, bright morning star
Conquering lion of Judah that’s what you are
For at the foot of the cross is where I find peace
For all that is in me, I l cry out to you
I long for your embrace
I long for your tender grace
You are more than sufficient for me
Fill my cup to overflowing as I lift it up to you
Quench this thirsting of my soul
Tear down these walls of fear and rejection
Let your infinite love shine through these crevices
Let the warmth of you penetrate this cold heart
Restored that which have been stolen from me
And let me hold fast to your foundation rock
I see you standing in the distance
With arms wide opened
How I long to run to you and be comforted
Would you accept this prodigal soul again?
Take me as I am and let me feel your love
Radiate through this burdened heart
O Son of the Most High
There is none like you in all the universe
Transform me into your likeness
And renew your spirit once again in me
You are glorified in all the earth
And your name shall be praise in all nations
I have wandered far away from you Lord
Now Lord I am coming home to you father
No more to roam
