Storm Warnings!

Storm warnings echoes a change on the horizon
Lost jobs, ruined careers, shattered marriages broken lives
Leaves us to wonder sometimes does anyone care?
Rise and be counted, take control once again of this situation

We are living in times of enormous conflict
Confronted by the realities of new problems in this age of crises
As we hope for peace, new opportunities and prosperity
Let us stamp out the corruption at every level in our society

As the image of approaching storms captures fear and uncertainty
We come to grips with gale warnings and its complexity
While our men continues to bathe in the bloodbaths in Iraq
We look to our leaders for resolution to this conflict that they lack

Deepening poverty, racial division, homelessness, escalating crimes
Are further complicated by plagues of many kinds
While the AIDS epidemic continues to grow at an alarming rate
Are reasons to react before it’s to late

wake up America
there's a cry in our Land
A time of changes forever
together we stand
