Say anything but 'The price of life is enough to pay
It's enough to make us stay'
Do not say 'I won't miss you
Because I did and now I do'

Say anything to me you want
Type me a message in any font
Keep me stable, keep me free
Keep me dead, so I may see

Say anything but 'I don't lie
Why you doubt, I don't see why'
I doubt your aloofness because you love me
You told me so when we were free

Life isn't free and death has a price
And I won't pay, I haven't and suffice
To say that there is nothing for me
Now hold me close and set me free

Clear my head and cloud my vision
You're the drug and life's the perscription
Keep me working just fine
Keep me stable and alive

We'll find what we need not in this life
I say this and tell you the price:
A child's heart, a woman's love
The soul and spirit of a dove

The recipie is quite plain
Kill a rabbit and a man again
Take a dash of hurting people
And the cross from your church's steeple

A cup of suffering, and pinch of pain
Taste and bake, then taste again
If it's bitter you've done it right
If it's dark as a dying sun, the recipie is fine (alright)

Say anything you want to me
This is how it was and will be
