Dragon's Rage

Deep in the cold, foggy night
The crickets chirp, the darkness cries.
The foliage-trampled, rocks and dirt-flattened.
Stars pop out, one by one like billions of tiny crystals.
Suddenly there is an eerie deadly silence
All that can be heard is the whistling trees, and the racing leaves.
Deep within ebony wood, two fiery orbs appear, smoke billowing from beneath
them.
Hundreds of serated white daggers drip slowly.
Drip with the blood of human kind.
Its long snakish tongue curves upward and licks its lips.
Dark brownish green scales form behind the fog.
Rockets towards the moon with the demonic shapes above.
It all comes clearer; fiery red eyes, blood soaked fangs...
The all mighty Dragon has awoken.
Earth trembles beneath its gargantuan feet, wings spread, ready to fly.
Smoke puffs from its blackened nostrils, the fire burning grows emensly.
With one quick crouch, its launched into the air.
Looking down on all that is below,
Its head rears up and emits a world-shattering roar.
In this same second, the fire of a thousand hells is unleashed!
Incinerating everything in plain sight of the dragon.
Trees reduced to ashes, villages explode into oversized embers, the smell of
barbequed and smoldering skin brings and evil end to the dragon's rage.
