She cries herself to sleep every night
Hoping to never awake
When morning comes, she does rise
And a smile she must fake

She has scars on her wrists and ankles
And her mom can't help but wonder why
Why she has such dark desires
To bleed and to die

But it's not just her own fault
The mother's to blame, too
For all the screams she lashed out on her
For all the shit she's put through

She has friends so far away
And some so very close
But none seem to take notice
When she's needing them the most

She has thoughts of suicide
Wondering what it's like
To finally take in your last gasping breath
And shut out the light

A heart full of pain caused more stress
And anger in her chest held back
Nobody hears her; they aren't listening
So they leave her to bleed black

They don't understand
That one day her day will come
When they find her lifeless
When she becomes undone

They'll find her hanging from a rope
Or bathing in a pool of red
A blade shoveled down her throat
It's then they'll find her dead

She wants to feel beautiful
She wants to be loved
She wants to find a concerned face
She wants to be no longer shoved

Her weak smile tells it all
A story with no words
Just something behind her eyes
Something that can't be heard

A simple note she left behind
Knowing good-bye's mean nothing at all
Thanks for catching all my tears
Catching me everytime I'd fall

And under she sinks into a black empty dream
To be with you once more
And only now you realize
You didn't know you needed her this much, before

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Sorry the poem is so terrible. But I bet you can't guess who
the girl is.. -_-
