With You

Away from this city.
Gone from this lonesome town.
Out on my own,
That's where I'm gonna be found.

With you as my shelter.
And your love as my gain.
I shall never strive
To find true love again.

When you hold me in your arms
And whisper in my ear
You tell me all the secrets,
You sum up all my fears.

While you lay here beside me
You tell me what is true
And then you ask me to remember
What we've got ourselves through.

We've had our pain,
Our love, Our joy
But to me, you were never just another boy.

You asked me to love you
And I gave myself to you.
Now ask me again
And yes, baby, it is true.

I love you deeply.
I love you true.
And when I'm here away from this lonely town,
I know you love me, too.
