If for that one fleeting moment
You took the time to count to ten
Maybe it would have been enough time
To save your life in the end
You acted in the heat of that raging storm
that festered and erupted just before dawn
Maybe you forgot the times when I told you
whenever you needed to talk
I am a phone call away,
perhaps we can even take a walk
Your blood boiled
No time to think
The trigger went off
And your lights went dim
the demons they laugh
at your final exit
Mission accomplished!
Was it really worth it?
Oh death where is thy sting?
Oh grave where is thy victory?
Floating now, Up and Away
Can you see me Demonie?
Staring at the scene where you lay
So much to live for, Yet you couldn't see
Look! The crowd’s getting bigger
With blank stares of disbelief
Stained red sheet it blanketed you
Flowers at your side for all to view
Embedded forever this memory
Gone but not forgotton
DEMONIE

A message to those who feel there’s no way out
Suicide is not the answer or an escape route
There’s a final chapter that you must face
Put down your weapons life you must embrace
