I find myself in this space again
the energy has flown right in
beginning in my mind as I walk
feelings through my brain when I talk
while struggling through the snow
I was putting on my smile for him
when he was freezing cold in the day
I heard him whisper, I heard him say
something beneath his breath, it flew like wind
but nothing was between us

The truth was already here
it hit me just like a rainy storm
with the flashes of yesterday's thoughts
remembering every expression he had taught
I always told them I would miss him
everything will fade with time and I will forget
but nothing here is worth my mistakes
since I'm here left hanging for his life
