Saving For the Breeze

Rambling, whispering, wandering
through the days of the staying
and the looking through the window

The beach is tender and oh-so warm
church is in the morning, but I'm not so calm
so just stay right by my side with the ocean breeze
so just sit with me sipping the waves
so talk to me about the suspicious maze of minds
tell me your theories on life

I think this is the best for us - the things between a blink
looking through candlelight and the smoke that rose
I'm just staring at the sea in your eyes
in the middle of your space and the black nothings in the middle

We may seem alone but the ghosts will sweep
and help the curtains blow and give the paradise some life
and flowers are wilting but you see the beauty of it all
and some literature book is falling on the floor
the moment if perfect, even if no one's around
worrying that this moment may become too content
the world around me is in need of expanding and more loving
