Ruler of the World

Destruction of comfort;
Imposing humility,
These are the laws I would enforce,
If the world belonged to me.
Using justice for once,
In a trial of human nature;
Prison is the enemy;
My world would learn to hate her.
Maybe children could be children:
Causing trouble and filled with glee-
Perhaps they wouldn't have to suffer,
If the world belonged to me.
And these killers we call leaders;
These corrupted slave masters,
Would find themselves falling into,
Their creation of dark matter:
This crater full of regret,
Draped in well-hidden misery,
Maybe I could change it all,
If the world belonged to me.
Maybe I could save us,
From ourselves; from our hurt,
Build, finally, the greatest nation
From the ashes and the dirt...
If I destroyed it now,
We all could live so happily!
I would create the greatest race,
If the world belonged to me.
