Swiftly the waves go back and forth
Bringing life to the cold dark earth
Leaving its ever lasting mark
In the frightful dark
Never completely fading away
Maybe leaving you for one day
Always returning to your side
Becoming your bed, your life, your pride
When you lay down beside it
Your swept away
By the winds hand
For a single day
Time becomes lost
Space doesnt matter
Light is turned off
Because I'm all that matters
Every thing is drapped
In sand and seaweed
Waiting to be taken back
Out to sea
As the tide comes in
Demanding its prize
You feel the strong breeze
Of the deep blue sea
As it consumes the remains
Only leaving bits behind
It touches your cheek
As you come alive
