She never smoked
She never did drugs
That wasn't her style
That's not who she was
She never took a hit
When it was offered to her
She'd turn her head
Without saying a word
She was never a thief
She never stole
It was the wrong thing to do
That's what she was told
She never drank liquor
She never drank beer
She never turned to alcohol
To rid her of her fear
She never let guys use her
Like she was just a toy
She never degraded herself
Not for some boy
She was never called slut
She was never called a whore
Such names never tainted her
Never making her heart sore
She never cried for hours
Wishing she would die
Knowing deep inside
Her life was just a lie
She never felt pain
At least not like this
Not to the extent
Of cutting her wrist
She was a good kid
Innocent as could be
She did what was right
She used to be me
To be continued........
Editors Note: The flow of this poem is a little rough in my opinion, but the
Party Girl poem ( soon to be poems) were written to tell the story of how my
life has taken turns and how I've changed and how people in general
change through out there time on earth. Hopefully you'll enjoy them.
